In the “Shrek” movie series, Fiona beings the plot as a lovely princess waiting for her true love; unfortunately she has been placed under a curse which causes her to be in human form in the day and ogre form at night. When her betrothed Prince does not arrive, the ogre Shrek announces his intentions of marriage.
